About Nik
Nik Xandir Wolf was born in riverside and grew up in California's Central Valley. He lives in Pacific Grove, California with his family, runs two businesses, is a Rotarian, and sits on the Surfrider board of directors helping to keep Monterey County beaches clean.

Nik is a writer, photographer, filmmaker, and poet. He attended Stanford’s OWC program in novel writing and holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of California, Riverside Palm Desert.
​
He has published books of poetry, a novel, multiple anthologies, and work in various literary journals and magazines. He is at work on a crime novel series featuring big wave surfer Moon demarco, a linked collection of short stories, and a new book of poetry.
Nik Xandir Wolf's 2023 novel, shadow valley, became a #1 Amazon best-seller. His debut chapbook poetry collection was published in February 2022, and his comic book, The Tech bro coloring book published in 2023.
His latest short story, "Boxing with Hemingway" is featured in the forthcoming surf noir anthology from kelp journal press, the amber waves of autumn.
